Cruiser
Adopted 7/16/2017
After almost 2 years in foster care, our beloved Cruiser finally found his forever home! Cruiser joins three generations of love in his new family. He has a loving mom Erin, grandma Sandy and human sister Zayna along with a furry, four-legged brother Levi. He's got it pretty good. We conducted several meet ups, in and out of the home and it was clear early on that this family was the one meant for Cruiser. Cruiser and Levi love one another and seem like long lost brothers waiting to find each other. It was fun to see these two goof around so happily. 🐾🐾

Billie
Adopted 7/6/2017
We pulled Billie from the kill list of a local shelter after getting contacted by a volunteer interested in saving her. Someone was interested in adopting her but couldn't take her immediately so our good friends Larry and Shirley Monks stepped up to foster Billie until her adopter, Adam, was able to take her home. That day came for Adam, Billie and Adam's other dog Dexter and the three are headed off to Kanab, Utah where Adam will be working at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary! We can't think of a better place for this little family to start their life together. Billie and Dexter are best buddies and after having all her puppies adopted, Billie is finally getting her happily ever after!

Charlie
Adopted 4/23/2017
Our little Charlie the Chiweenie was adopted by a wonderful family and we are thrilled this little guy will get to grow up so loved :) Charlie has 3 adorable human sisters and a new mom and dad who are simply smitten. The Gonzalez family applied to adopt him and came out to our adoption event yesterday and it was love at first sight for everyone. Their previous chiweenie had passed away and they missed having a dog and felt Charlie would be the perfect addition to their family. Charlie is likely going to be one tired boy for a few days as he adjusts to all the fun he's going to have chasing around his sisters!

Reggie
Adopted 3/8/2017
Reggie was adopted by a family of 5 who are overjoyed to now call Reggie family :) They are the kind of adopters we hope to find. They applied to adopt. They mindfully planned to meet him. They submitted all the paperwork. They did tons of research on how to properly care for a dog and they asked us tons of questions. We feel very strongly that this family was meant for Reggie.
We know Reg has lots of fans out there who knew him at the shelter and this news will fill their hearts with joy. Heartfelt thanks to the Kaur Family for choosing to adopt Reggie and finally giving him the home he has long waited to find. Today is a good day :)

Maria (now Ginger Marie)
Adopted 2/28/2017
Maria's adopters saw our post on Facebook after a family member saw the post FROM TEXAS and shared it with them. They decided to go meet Maria and as you can see, it worked out and now Maria is one happy camper! She has a very sweet momma and a loving big brother who will watch over her and take good care of her. Finding a home for a dog who needs to be the only pet is not easy, but it can happen and there are families out there without any pets who are willing to step up. Right now Maria is in her home decompressing from the shelter and resting up for all the good things to come :) Thank you to the Kolstad's for their huge hearts and for opening their home to a last chance dog. You guys are our heroes!

Maggie
Adopted 2/25/2017
Maggie was adopted by her loving and wonderful foster parents Robert and Nancy Davis! Robert and Nancy opened their home to Maggie back in October 2015, saving her life. Maggie had various behavioral challenges and Nancy worked hard to help Maggie overcome most of her issues. She took Maggie to training, implemented the training plan, took her to adoption events to socialize her, and did all the necessary things we do to help our dogs get adopted. Along that journey, Nancy and Robert fell in love with Maggie and she with them. They understand that she will never be a "perfect" dog but they also understand her quirks are what make her, her. Maggie feels safe and loved and accepted by her parents and we know she will continue to have the best life possible right where she is.

Mario
Adopted 11/23/2016
Lovable lowrider Mario attended our adoption event, or should we say did "drive-by's" at our adoption event (Mario is leash reactive and tends to yell at other dogs when he sees them so his foster mom did laps around the Fountains) and his new mom was shopping with friends and saw (heard) him and stopped to visit. Dare we say it was love at first sight? We think so! Rachael and her family had lost their dog not long ago and were missing having a furry friend so the whole family set up a time to meet Mario and it was love all around! Mario was the perfect fit for them and they were the perfect home for him! Just goes to show that there is a home out there for every perfectly imperfect dog :)

Manny
Adopted 11/18/2016
Manny's foster mom and dad fell so in love with him that they decided they couldn't give him up and so they made him a permanent part of their family! Siblings Dino (left) and Percy (right) think Manny is pretty special too and so they've agreed to split mom and dad's love in thirds! We love foster fails because we always know that our dog will be loved unconditionally since the fosters have already shown incredible kindness by opening their home to a dog in need. Manny wasn't with us very long and that's how it should be for all dogs in rescue.

Roxy
Adopted 10/14/2016
At the very last minute before her kill date, we got an inquiry from a family who was interested in meeting Roxy. We contacted the shelter, set up a meet up, and it was love at first sight for Roxy and the family. She ran right over to them and immediately sought affection! The family decided that Roxy was the one for them and late yesterday, brought her home :) Roxy has human and canine siblings and is settling in nicely so far. Gigantic thanks to the Tinsley's for opening their hearts and home to Roxy and saving her life. She was out of time at the shelter and stressed beyond belief but now she is safe, happy, and loved and that is some great news on this rainy day!

Wendell
Adopted 10/10/2016
Everyone who met Wendell fell in love with him and it was easy to see why. He is just a big, loving soul who was in search of a family who would appreciate this big lug. Thanks to the Dorsey's for giving Wendell a new mom and dad, a canine big sister and a big, little human sister! They saw his picture and fell in love with those gorgeous eyes and decided to come and meet him and that connection continued. We know they will do everything they can to ensure Wendell has an awesome life filled with love and we can't hope for much more.

Mocha
Adopted 10/9/2016
Mocha Beans has found her forever home! After a year of waiting in a shelter and another year waiting in foster care, spending most of her short life longing for her own family, Mocha is home tonight :) Extra huge thanks to the Yamane's for opening their hearts and home to Mocha and for understanding that sometimes the most amazing gifts often come in small packages, sometimes in little four-legged, red-headed, spunky ones! They took the time to get to know Mocha and to learn about what she needs to be successful in their home and they were ready and willing to be patient and give her time to adjust. That is special. That is rare. That is what all our dogs need and deserve. They aren't all perfect, but they are all perfect for someone :)

Quincy
Adopted 10/3/2016
Our senior boy Quincy went to his forever home! It's not easy finding a home for a senior dog but all it takes is one kind, loving person to open their heart and for Quincy, that person was Stan. Stan contacted us wanting to adopt an older Lab whose chances of adoption might be less than the average adoptable dog. We introduced him to Quincy and it was love at first sight for both of them! Quincy is a sweetheart and immediately warmed up to Stan by pressing his body up to him and begging for butt scratches!

Bubba
Adopted 9/23/16
Our beloved Bubba was adopted into an amazing family! At a fundraising event at Crooked Lane Brewing a man named Steve met Bubba and fell in love. He knew Bubba would be the perfect new member of his family so after the event, we set up a time for Bubba to meet Steve's wife Jennifer. Turns out it was love all around for everyone :) Bubba is the only child right now but will soon have a new puppy sibling to keep him company. The Hayers have showered Bubba with love and shown us that holding out for the "right" family often pays off and they were the answer to our prayers for Bubba. It is clear how much he is loved already and that he's fast becoming part of the family. It has made letting him go just a bit easier.

Ike
Adopted 8/11/2016
Sound the trumpets! Incredibly sweet Ike has found a new home! Ike was adopted this week by the Garcia family and now has 2 human brothers, a human sister, a Chi sister Lyla and 2 feline siblings! Needless to say, Ike is gonna be loved! The Garcia's said they had been looking for the right dog to add to their family for over 6 months and things worked out just as they should be when they found our Ike :) We are so happy for soft-hearted Ike because this very loving and sensitive boy has been through a lot the past month and now he is finally safe.

Miranda (now Mandi)
Adopted 7/19/2016
Mandi's foster family decided she was a keeper and adopted her! Mandi was in their family for two weeks on a trial foster to adopt placement and she stole the hearts of everyone especially her big bro Petey! She and Petey are the best of buds and spend the majority of their days sleeping, wrestling or annoying one another! We are so thrilled that Mandi has found this amazing home and we are so thankful for her adoptive family who took a chance on her and opened their hearts and home to this very deserving girl.

Daisy
Adopted 5/22/2016
A TON of work went into getting Daisy adopted and we cannot be happier to see the end result. We entertained several people who wanted to save Daisy but none of them worked out so we continued to review other adoption applications and we found the best one of all in Daisy's adopters! Not only did they understand that Daisy has a strong personality and they need to take their time with her but they had no problem whatsoever driving a distance to meet her. Once out of the shelter, Daisy changed completely and while still settling in, she is not exhibiting any of the concerning behaviors seen at the shelter. She's pretty much a typical Chi! She even likes other dogs :)

Etta
Adopted 4/9/2016
Sweet senior Etta went to an amazing family who fell in love with her and drove a very long way to adopt her. The couple was looking for an older, calmer dog to adopt and when they saw Etta online they knew she was the one. Etta is going to a home where she is the only pet and will be showered with love and affection and will be the queen of the castle! We are so thankful to Jeff and Vanessa for choosing to adopt this girl and for giving her the home she deserves.

Lance
Adopted 3/30/16
Lance came to us from the PSPCA in April of 2014, after being placed on the kill list for kennel stress. He turned out to be the kind of dog most of us want to have and a true testament to why giving dogs a chance in foster makes all the difference. He is amazing with other dogs, affectionate with people, obedient, easy to take anywhere around anyone, independent and so much fun. After 2 years in foster care, Lance found his family when he met Cindy and her two dogs Rain and Jade. He now has two sisters to romp around with, a big yard to play in and space in the master bed with his new mom :)

Pokey
Adopted 12/27/2015
Pokey and her brother Bubba came to us as two of the absolute sweetest, most loving and forgiving little pitties we've ever met. They are both ambassadors for the breed and teach everyone how awesome pit bulls and mixes really are. Our greatest hope was that these two would find loving homes and we made it our mission to make that happen. At Pokey's very first adoption event she met Jeff and Katie and we saw their connection to each other and new it was meant to be. Pokey has 3 older human siblings and a mom and dad who just adore her. She is the only pet in the home so she is queen of the castle, just how she likes it!

Hudson
Adopted 11/25/2015
Hudson is living the good life with his mom Carolyn and he's going to be one spoiled boy! Carolyn fell hard for Hudson, but really, who could blame her? Hudson was just as smitten with her and we feel really blessed to have been part of his journey to the life he deserves. We saved Hudson's life because we knew he was a great dog who just couldn't handle shelter life. His sweet and sensitive soul needed a special person to love him and give him the quiet, safe life he needed to thrive. Carolyn came along and provided that and so much more! Hudson is an only child now who is lavished in love by his new mama and we couldn't be happier for this little boy!

Chaz
Adopted 8/25/2015
We could have searched the world over and not found a better home for Chaz then the one he found with his new mom Linda and his new sister Emma. Chaz has a huge fenced in yard, a sibling, a big house, a basket of toys and all the love any dog could hope to have. His new mom already emailed us and had this to say about Chaz:
"Chaz slept on the rug by my bed all night. Very sweet boy. He didn't move from that spot all night. He and Emma are doing just fine. Everyone had breakfast and ready to start the day. Can't believe someone let him go. Well, their loss is our gain."
Thank you Linda for opening your home to this boy and for giving him his much deserved forever home!
