Fostering is what allows us to do what we do! Without foster homes, we cannot save the lives of dogs in need. We do not have a kennel space or boarding facility where dogs can go and we depend on foster homes to take in dogs directly from the shelter. When you open your home to a homeless dog, you are saving two lives: the life of the dog you are fostering and the space at the shelter where another dog can remain. At One By One Rescue Project, we do everything possible to support our fosters and make the experience a rewarding journey for both foster family and dog. We only place dogs into families where we believe there is a good fit between the two and where we feel the dog will prosper and be readied for adoption. We value our foster families and we know they are our greatest resource!
